Rook News Spring 2022 – Boarding

It has been a busy term with increased numbers of boarders and more to come during the summer term: exciting times, but sometimes I do wonder if we need volume controls fitting!

Our Fun Tuesday evenings have gone from strength to strength and brought plenty of laughter as well as showing hitherto unknown talents. Treasure hunts, fashion shows using bin bags (budding designers Patrick and Chloe creating a hooded jacket worthy of the Paris catwalk!), guess the movie, bingo and quizzes to name but a few. Our movie viewing has taken a retro turn as staff share favourite golden oldies, such as the Princess Bride (which are of course new to the youngsters!)

Our weekends have been busy, adventuring outside the house with popular visits to: Ninja Warrior, escape rooms, movies, bowling, swimming, ice skating and the roller disco.

We look forwards to a busy summer term with our overseas visitors and time spent developing a wellbeing garden.
