EPQ

Developing intellectual curiosity and independence

All students will have additional research and study skills teaching to prepare them for the EPQ, the “Extended Project Qualification”, and most will go on to complete this project. The EPQ is an independently chosen research project, worth half an A Level, allowing students to explore a topic beyond their standard curriculum in great depth. Example projects might include exploring the science behind DNA editing, analysing the benefits of nursery education, or building a guitar from scratch.
