The best way to find out more about Rookwood School is to experience it for yourself. We offer Open Mornings throughout the year, as well as Taster Days for potential pupils to experience what life at Rookwood would be like for themselves.
We would also be happy to arrange a tour of the independent school on a day that suits you and offer 1:1 appointments to meet our Headteacher directly.
Open Events
Our Open Mornings offer the chance to experience Rookwood School in a relaxed and authentic way. They begin with a welcome from our Headteacher, Mr Robinson, followed by a personalised tour led by two of our pupils, who share their own stories and experiences. Along the way, you will meet our staff, explore our facilities and gain a real insight into the academic challenge, pastoral care and opportunities that help every pupil thrive.
Our next School Open Morning will take place in Spring 2027, with the date to be announced soon.
In the meantime, we warmly encourage families to book a personalised tour with our Admissions team. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore our welcoming school, meet our staff and discover what makes Rookwood such a special place to learn and grow. Please contact our Admissions Team to arrange your visit. We would be delighted to welcome you!
Taster Days
If you’ve decided that you would like to consider Rookwood School for your child, and once you have registered your child’s place, we would love to offer a Taster Day. Our Taster Days give your child the chance to see what it would be like to be part of the Rookwood family and experience the school, meet staff and interact with their fellow pupils for themselves. Please contact our Admissions team to schedule a taster day.
Each year, we also run a group Taster Day for pupils interested in joining Rookwood School into Year 7. Our Year 7 Discovery Day will take place on Tuesday 17th November. If you would like to attend, please contact our Admissions team at admissions@rookwoodschool.org.
1:1 meetings with the Head
If our Open Mornings are not convenient for you, then we are happy to offer 1:1 meetings with our Headteacher, Mr Paul Robinson, at a time that suits you. Please get in touch with us to arrange this.
