PSHE

Back to Curriculum (Years 7-11)

Helping pupils understand and prepare for their day-to-day lives and their futures.

Preparation for future lives

Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE) is a subject that explores many different and exciting areas, which will help pupils grow, understand and prepare for their day-to-day lives and their futures.

A range of topics

PSHE encompasses three themes: Health and Wellbeing, Relationships, and Living in the Wider World. These are explored during our specialist led teacher lessons, using practical and discussion based activities. We explore a wide range of topics from internet safety, money management, careers and fake news and incorporate the statutory RSE (Relationship and Sex education curriculum.)

Future resilience

Lessons always look at current issues impacting the school and the world around us and provide a safe environment to share concerns, ideas and opinions. In PSHE we are looking to develop informed, responsible and caring pupils today and in the future.
