Mr Winnett – Maths Teacher and Assistant Head of Senior School
I have been a teacher at Rookwood School for 15 years. I teach Mathematics at KS3, GCSE and A Level. As part of a successful mathematics department I really enjoy helping the pupils to develop their confidence within the subject and we try to make maths enjoyable and accessible to everyone.
We are very proud of the progress the pupils make academically throughout their time at Rookwood School. In my other role as the Assistant Head of the Senior School, I help Mrs Hacker with the day to day running of the school. I particularly enjoy assisting with the transition programme welcoming the new Year 7 pupils to Rookwood.
Away from school I am a keen sportsman playing tennis, hockey and golf. I enjoy running sports clubs at school and coaching sport in the local community.
