At Rookwood School, the needs of more able pupils are well met. Whether gifted across the curriculum or with an enhanced aptitude for a specific subject, our teachers are able to meet the needs of individual pupils. Our small classes allow teachers to spend more time with our more able pupils, to challenge them and to tailor provision to meet individual needs.

Staff are well versed in differentiation strategies in the classroom to ensure every pupil is stretched and the more able, in any particular subject, are challenged in the younger years
