This past week in boarding has been full of excitement, new experiences, and heart-warming moments.
We were delighted to welcome Camden in Reception, who received a warm and enthusiastic greeting from all the boarders. Camden brought along ‘Big Ted’ for some cuddles, and everyone enjoyed hearing her stories about her day with him.
To celebrate the end of half term, we treated the boarders to a fun trip to the Everyman Cinema in Salisbury. With the comfiest seats and delicious cookies-and-cream treats alongside classic popcorn, the students had a wonderful time.
While exploring the town, we stumbled upon a local fair. Some boarders enjoyed the thrill of the rides, while others indulged in tasty snacks. A surprise highlight of the trip was Miss Frame finding Paddington Bear and snapping a selfie—perhaps our next cinema outing will be a live screening of Paddington.
We ended the week with a creative pumpkin-making session, getting ready for our upcoming competition. The boarding house echoed with laughter and some playful screams as we captured photos of our spooky creations in the dark.
As we look forward to half term, our boarders are excited to visit family and friends, and we have an action-packed schedule of trips lined up for their return.
