Imogen pursues her passion for performance

Imogen PatchingWe were delighted to catch up with Imogen Patching, who attended Rookwood from Year 7 through to Year 11 and left in the summer of 2024 with a clear passion for the performing arts.

During her time at Rookwood, Imogen embraced every opportunity to perform, from school productions to showcases, and quickly established herself as a talented and dedicated performer. The Performing Arts department at Rookwood played a vital role in nurturing her skills and confidence, particularly throughout the audition process for her next step.

Since leaving Rookwood, Imogen has taken her passion to the next level, beginning a Level 3 Extended Diploma at Kingsclere Performing Arts College. She is thriving in this specialist environment, where she is developing her craft and preparing for the next stage of her journey.

Looking ahead, Imogen hopes to begin auditioning for performing arts degree courses soon, with the ambition of starting university in 2026. Her time at Rookwood gave her the encouragement and foundation she needed to follow her dreams, and she continues to build on that support as she moves towards a career in the arts.

We are incredibly proud of everything Imogen has achieved so far and cannot wait to see her flourish as she pursues her passion for performance.
