Hard work paying off in Sixth Form

The start of term has seen our Sixth Form students return with a really positive attitude and focus as they approach the final months of their time at Rookwood. Mock exam results have been shared, and students are already working closely with staff to ensure they reach their full potential in the upcoming May exams.

Mrs Singlehurst has supported two students who have now successfully submitted their completed UCAS applications, and we are confident they will secure places on the university courses of their choice.

Results are also in for EPQs, with all students achieving excellent outcomes. One student received an A* grade for an outstanding project – a remarkable achievement that demonstrates perseverance, dedication, and the production of a well-structured, thoughtful report. Completing an EPQ alongside A Levels is a challenging task, and all three students showcased excellent cross-curricular skills that will serve them well in the future.

Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students for their hard work and commitment. They should be very proud of themselves – we certainly are.
