On Friday 15th March, Rookwood School held a day of successful fundraising efforts to mark this year’s Comic Relief. The school organised a series of engaging activities that not only brought joy and laughter but also raised vital funds and help for charitable causes.
One of the highlights of the day was non-school uniform, where pupils enthusiastically donned various red items instead in support of Comic Relief. A minimum donation of £1 was encouraged, and the sea of red clothing was a vibrant testament to the pupils’ generosity and spirit.
Adding to the excitement was the Cereal Domino Rally, a creative and collaborative initiative that involved every pupil bringing in a box of cereal to create a large domino effect. The activity not only brought smiles but also contributed to a meaningful cause. All 250 cereal boxes used in the rally will be donated to the Andover Food Bank, aiding local families in need.
