This weekend at Rookwood School has been an inspiring one for our boarders. Our students have had the chance to explore a range of activities, from animating short films – drawing inspiration from classic Disney films – to crocheting cosy creations, crafting beautiful cross-stitch designs, and baking treats. The boarding house has been alive with energy as students connected with their peers, developed new skills, and enjoyed plenty of friendly games. It’s a wonderful example of how our students can unwind, express themselves, and grow outside of the classroom.
This creativity is just one part of the wrap-around care Rookwood offers. Our team is here to ensure that every student feels supported, whether it’s for a late pick-up, extra time to finish a project, or an overnight stay after a trip. We believe in providing a flexible, nurturing environment where students can thrive, and these activities are just one example of the balance we strive to maintain between academic success and personal well-being.
