Pathway to academic success

Rookwood offers a broad and engaging academic programme, grounded in the British education system. Students follow a well-structured pathway through GCSEs and A-levels, supported by specialist teachers who are passionate about their subjects.

With small class sizes and a focus on individual progress, we ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve their best. Independent thinking, intellectual curiosity, and academic confidence are all actively encouraged.

We understand that adjusting to life in a new country – and a new language – can be daunting. Rookwood offers tailored English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for international students who need it.

Our boarders regularly enjoy cultural excursions to these iconic destinations as part of their Rookwood experience.

Located within easy reach of Heathrow, Gatwick, and Southampton airports, Rookwood is perfectly placed for international families. Whether joining us from Europe, Asia, or beyond, travel is simple and stress-free.

Exciting developments to Boarding

A refurbishment programme will start shortly to enhance the boarding experience we offer.

This will include:

  • Refurbished bedrooms and bathrooms for enhanced comfort and privacy
  • Revitalised recreational areas perfect for socialising and unwinding
  • Revamped garden featuring:
    • A newly decked area with outdoor seating for relaxation and al fresco dining
    • A garden house/chalet gym for convenient, on-site workouts
    • A pizza oven, bringing fun and flavour to weekend evenings!
