This has been a busy term for Rookwood Boarders with a combination of fun activities in the house and weekend trips further afield. We have held a Halloween party, been paint balling, ice skating as well as solving our own in house murder mystery at a ghoulish dinner party to celebrate Dracula’s 500th birthday!
We have welcomed our new Cook: Mrs Friend ,who, in addition to helping us to retain our 5 star food hygiene rating, has been cooking up a storm with plenty of new recipes and ideas culminating this week, when we were treated to a delicious Christmas dinner. On this occasion we were joined by members of the Senior leadership team (one of whom was heard describing the brussel sprouts as ‘perfectly cooked’!).
