Little Rooks have been joining in with festive cheer this term with a variety of different Christmas themed activities. The children have enjoyed posting Christmas cards to each other and some of them even made their own!
The children in the Butterfly Room have been decorating the interactive Christmas tree and have loved moving the decorations around, whilst the children in the Bees Room were very proud of how lovely their tree looked after decorating it with tinsel and baubles.
The children in the Butterfly Room have also had the chance to find out what it feels like to explore paint with their fingers and painted colourful Christmas angels!
The Nativity story has been a popular topic this term and the children have also enjoyed singing and learning their Christmas Carols.
Little Rooks also joined in with the whole school celebrations for Thanksgiving Day on the 26th November and made Thanksgiving Day wreaths. Thank you to the Friends of Rookwood School who supplied the resources.
