We are delighted to welcome Miss Frame as our new Head of Boarding at Rookwood School. With her wealth of experience, Miss Frame has already been making wonderful strides in enhancing the warm, homely atmosphere within our boarding houses. Her focus on creating a nurturing environment has been embraced by both students and staff.
This term, we are proud to announce the arrival of our first Sixth Form boarder, with another soon to join, reflecting the steady growth of our boarding community. We are excited to see how this expansion enriches life at Rookwood.
Boarding life is full of lively activities, and this week’s highlight was a spirited game of UNO, complete with plenty of laughter and some friendly frustration! It was fascinating to discover how each student brought their own family’s unique set of house rules to the game. Debates over whether you can lay two cards at once or play an action card last kept everyone entertained. The discussions on the “correct” rules of UNO were as fun as the game itself!
We’re looking forward to our next game night—Monopoly—where we’re sure to see more interesting house rules come to light!
Miss Frame is excited to continue building a strong sense of community and camaraderie in the boarding houses, making Rookwood a true home away from home for our boarders.
