Tours & Open Days

Experience Rookwood

The best way to find out more about Rookwood School is to experience it for yourself. We offer Open Days throughout the year as well as Taster Days for potential pupils to experience what life at Rookwood would be like for themselves. These are offered both on an individual basis or as a group.

Meet our Head

From 09.30 – 11.00 on Friday 22nd November we are offering the chance for a small group of families to have a pupil-led tour of the school followed by an informal Q&A with our new Headteacher over refreshments. Places are limited, so please register ASAP.

We would also be happy to arrange a tour of the independent school on a day that suits you and offer 1:1 appointments to meet our Headteacher directly.

Open Events

Our Open Mornings (09.00 – 12.00) provides an opportunity to see the school in action, with a presentation from our Senior Leadership Team, a tour of the school and the opportunity to meet staff and pupils.

Our next Open Morning is taking place on the following date:

Our Taster Days give your child the chance to see what it would be like to be part of the Rookwood family and experience the school, meet staff and interact with their fellow pupils for themselves. Please register your interest for future Taster Days.

TASTER DAYS

Each year, we run a series of Taster Days for pupils interested in joining Rookwood School into Year 7. Please see below for details and the link to sign up.

  • Year 7 2025 Taster Day: Tuesday 19th November 2024 (9am – 4pm). The day will provide a great opportunity for pupils to experience life in our Senior School. Places can be booked here.
