Goodbye Mrs Willcox

This term we say goodbye to Mrs Willcox has been a hugely valued member of the Rookwood family for the last 13 years. Here she is with Mrs Hacker, who presented her with a bespoke geography themed quilt that had been expertly crafted by Mrs Roberts, Mrs Collins and Mrs Moon under the guidance of Mrs Clarke, Rookwood’s resident expert quilter.

Mrs Willcox’s passion for Geography has inspired many students to further their studies in the subject both at A-Level and degree level.  As an avid trip organiser, she gave many opportunities for the pupils from Lulworth Cove to Iceland, sharing her passion for the natural world.  During her time here she has achieved accreditation with the Geography Mark and established recycling throughout the school, later becoming Head of Humanities as well as being an integral part of the staff and school.  We wish Mrs Willcox well in her future endeavours and thank her for all her hard work over the last 13 years.
