It’s been an action-packed few weeks in boarding at Rookwood, and our boarders have embraced every moment with enthusiasm! Last Friday, they joined the Andover community for a spectacular night of fireworks. The sky burst into vibrant colours, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with excitement and awe. Paired with delicious food and drinks, the highlight of the night was the freshly popped popcorn—a clear favourite among our students.
The energy in our boarding community has been further enriched by the arrival of new students for short visits and dinners. Their excitement has added a wonderful dynamic, making each day lively and full of fresh connections. Recently, we hosted a thrilling battle of Dobble, where laughter and friendly competition echoed throughout the halls—showing just how many creative variations of the game exist!
Looking forward, our boarders are eagerly anticipating a trip to iFly in Basingstoke, where they’ll experience the thrill of indoor skydiving. This gravity-defying adventure promises to be an exhilarating way to kick off the excitement for the release of the Wicked movie (we’re confident they’ll leave the green face paint behind this time!).
